Hotshot Express

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 8, 2026

Hotshot Express LLC runs this website to help you get auto transport and freight quotes. Where this page says we or us, it means Hotshot Express LLC. It explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep it in plain language on purpose.

What we collect

We only collect what you type into our forms:

  • Quote requests: pickup and delivery locations, vehicle details, timing, your name, email, phone number, and any notes you add.
  • Contact messages: your name, email, phone number if you share it, and your message.

We do not ask for payment information on this website, and we never collect it here.

How we use it

  • To prepare your quote and answer your questions.
  • To contact you about your request by phone, text, email, or WhatsApp. Giving us your phone number on a form is you asking us to get back to you about that quote, so that is what we use it for. We do not send marketing blasts and we do not add you to sales lists.
  • To keep a record of your request in our booking system.

You can tell us to stop at any time, and any way you like. Reply STOP to a text, say so on a call, or email us. There is no form to fill in and no waiting period. Asking us to stop contacting you does not affect a quote you have already been given.

What we never do

  • We never sell your personal information.
  • We never share it with data brokers or advertisers.
  • We never pass your request to other transport companies. We are the carrier, so your request stays with us.

Who else handles your information

Running a website takes a few outside companies. Each one only handles what it needs to do its job for us, under a contract that says they cannot use it for anything else. They are:

  • A website hosting provider, which serves these pages to you.
  • A database provider, which stores the quote requests and messages you send us.
  • An email delivery provider, which sends our confirmations and replies and tells us whether they arrived.
  • A bot protection provider, which checks that a form was filled in by a person and not by a script.
  • A file storage provider, for any photos or documents you send us about your vehicle.

We name the job rather than the company on purpose. Publishing the exact list of services a business runs on is useful mainly to people trying to break into it. If you need the names, for example because you are doing your own due diligence, email us and we will tell you.

How we count visits

We count page views ourselves so we can see which pages are useful and where our quote form loses people. We do this without cookies and without storing anything that identifies you.

What we record for a page view:

  • The page address, without anything you typed into a form.
  • The website that sent you, if any. We keep only the site name, for example google.com, never the full link.
  • Whether you are on a phone, a tablet, or a computer. We do not store your browser details or your IP address.
  • Campaign tags in the link you clicked, if the link had any, so we know which advert brought you here.
  • Which step of the quote form you reached.

To join those together into one visit we use a random number that lives only in your browser tab. It is deleted the moment you close the tab, it is not a cookie, it is never sent anywhere else, and it cannot be traced back to you. We delete this data after about 13 months.

Our emails

When we email you about your quote, we can see whether it arrived, whether it was opened, and whether you clicked a link in it. We use this to know that our replies are actually reaching people. A quote confirmation that quietly bounces is a customer we would otherwise never call back.

This works through a small invisible image in the email and through links that pass through our email provider on the way to our site. We record only that it happened and when. We do not store your IP address or your device details from these emails.

If you would rather not be counted, most email apps let you block images, which stops the open from being recorded. It does not affect your quote in any way.

Cookies

Browsing this website sets no cookies. We use none for analytics, none for advertising, and none that follow you to other sites, which is why there is no cookie banner here.

Our staff sign in page is the one exception. Opening it sets two things, and both exist only to keep the accounts that manage your quote safe:

  • A random device number, so that when a member of our staff signs in from a computer they have not used before we can email them a code first. It is a random value with nothing in it about you or your browser.
  • A sign in cookie, once a member of staff has signed in, so they stay signed in.

If you are not staff, the device number is all that is ever set, and it is never read for anything else. Clearing your cookies removes it.

Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a Do Not Track signal. There is still no agreed standard for what a website should do with one, so most sites ignore it. We do not need to read it. We do not track you across other websites, we run no advertising networks here, and we allow no third party to collect information about you as you browse these pages. There is nothing here for a Do Not Track signal to switch off.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and messages for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our business and legal record keeping needs. If you want your information removed sooner, just ask.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the information you sent us. California residents have these rights under the CCPA, and we honor them for everyone. Email dispatch@hotshotexppllc.com or call +1 (209) 659-4205.

Children

This site is for adults arranging vehicle transport. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
