These terms cover your use of this website, run by Hotshot Express LLC. By using the site, you agree to them. They are short and written in plain language on purpose.

Quotes are estimates until confirmed

A quote you request through this site is a price estimate, not a booking. A booking exists when we confirm it with you directly and agree on pickup details. Once we confirm a price with you, we honor it.

Give us accurate information

Quotes are based on what you tell us: the route, the vehicle, its condition, and your timing. If the details turn out to be different, for example a vehicle that does not run when we were told it does, the price or schedule may need to change. Tell us everything up front and there are no surprises.

We are the carrier

We move your vehicle on our own equipment. We are not a broker passing your job to somebody else, so the company that quotes you is the company that shows up. If any part of a job ever needs another carrier, we will tell you before you book, not after.

Transport is governed by the bill of lading

The move itself runs on the shipping documents we complete together at pickup and delivery, above all the bill of lading and the vehicle inspection report. Those documents are the contract of carriage. They record the condition of your vehicle at both ends and they decide any question about loss or damage.

This website does not replace them. Nothing on these pages changes what those documents say, and where the two ever disagree, the signed documents win. Read them before you sign, and keep your copy.

Dates are our best estimate, not a guarantee

We give you the pickup and delivery window we honestly expect to hit, and we keep you told if it moves. We cannot guarantee an exact date or time. Weather, road closures, traffic, mechanical trouble and the federal driving hour limits our drivers work under can all add time to a route, and none of them are ours to control.

If your move genuinely has to happen inside a fixed window, tell us before you book so we can say honestly whether we can commit to it.

Do not leave personal items in the vehicle

Please empty your vehicle before pickup. Our cargo insurance covers the vehicle, not the contents, so anything left inside travels at your own risk and we cannot pay for it if it is lost or damaged. Loose items can also move in transit and damage the vehicle itself.

Never leave anything valuable, fragile, or irreplaceable inside. Check the glovebox, the trunk and under the seats.

Use the site fairly

• Do not submit false quote requests or messages.
• Do not use bots or scripts to flood our forms.
• Do not try to break, probe, or overload the site.

Our content

The text, logo, and images on this site belong to Hotshot Express LLC or are used under license. Do not copy them for commercial use without our permission.

The site is provided as is

We work to keep this website accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be error free or online. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for damages that come from using the website itself. This does not limit our responsibilities for actual transport services, which are covered by the shipping documents and our cargo insurance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute about this website will be handled in California courts.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top tells you when they last changed.
